Xzibit reveals he owes $1.3 million in tax debts

Xzibit has revealed he owes $1.3 million in tax debts.

The West Coast rapper is continuing to go back and forth with his estranged wife, Krista Joiner, over spousal support, with his monthly income now being revealed.

According to TMZ, court documents claim that Xzibit is earning around $66,547 per month, while his ex-wife is bringing in $12,843.

He owes the State of California over $400,000 in back taxes, and the Internal Revenue Service says he owes around $900,000, totalling $1.3 million.

Xzibit claims he also owes more than $1.4 million in personal debts and another $2 million in business debts, bringing his average monthly bill expenses to around $23,566.

The rapper claims he has no significant assets and that his income from 2025 was from touring and promoting his album. He released his latest album, Kingmaker, in May, serving as his first album in 13 years. It featured Dr Dre, Ice Cube, Busta Rhymes, Redman, B-Real, and many others.

The 51-year-old says he’s been paying temporary spousal support, but argues that Krista shouldn’t receive money after the divorce is finalised.

Xzibit and Krista married in 2014 and separated in 2021, before being declared single in April 2025. Their son, Gatlyn, was born in 2010, with the rapper currently paying $5,145 a month in spousal support.

Speaking in documents last year, Xzibit wrote, “While I am hopeful that a trial on all the issues will be set in the very near future, in all likelihood it may take months for the trial to commence and longer to conclude. I no longer want to be married to Petitioner. I request that our marital status be terminated as soon as possible.”

He continued, “Restoring Petitioner and I to single persons is in both of our best interests and will allow us to alleviate emotional strain and pressure and hopefully help facilitate settlement on all reserved issues.”
