Wiz Khalifa has altercation with excited fan throwing money at a recent show

Wiz Khalifa is usually one of the most relaxed people in hip-hop. As a prolific weed-smoker, Wiz is usually laidback and approachable. However, he recently ran into a problem with a fan while performing.

During a performance in Thailand in front of a sold-out audience, things took a turn for the worse after a fan decided to make it rain on the rapper, similar to how clubbers throw money on dancers in a strip club.

Although this is common with female rappers and is how people often show their wealth in hip-hop, the fan’s actions threw Wiz Khalifa off. It was clear he was not happy with what the fan had done during his performance. However, the Pittsburgh musician didn’t tell the concertgoer kindly to stop.

During his set at the afterparty for Rolling Loud Thailand at Club 808, TMZ obtained footage of the ‘Black and Yellow’ rhymer angrily speaking to the crowd about the culprit, stating, “I wanna show love to everybody in here, but there’s one person that I need to talk to.”

The artist then proceeded to single out the fan who had been throwing dollar bills at him during his set, declaring, “This guy right here, stop throwing money on the stage. I’m not no stripper dawg. Stop throwing money on the stage.”

The footage then focused on the embarrassed man who had been throwing money at Khalifa. Wiz told the fan to save his money and explained that the action of throwing money at a man didn’t sit well with him, telling him, “Keep your money! It’s your money.”

Following this, the lyricist signalled to the club staff to collect the money and return it to the overexcited audience member, telling them, “Give it back to him. Give all his money back to him.” He continued, “You can throw it at a girl, you can throw it at the homies, do not throw money at me. This is a request. I’m not a dancer, you throw money at dancers.”

After saying it twice, Wiz Khalifa tripled down, sensing that he wasn’t getting through to the fan, so he continued, “Please, I’m asking you!” After the brief pause in events to address the frenzied audience member, the ‘On a Level’ rapper continued the show exactly where he had finished prior.

Although Wiz Khalifa is usually relaxed with fans, this isn’t the first time a hip-hop artist has decided to address an audience member. Last year, Cardi B threw her microphone at a concertgoer after getting splashed with water at a Las Vegas performance.
