Cardi B hurls microphone at fan who threw a drink at her during performance in Las Vegas

Cardi B threw a microphone at a concert-goer over the weekend after they aimed a drink at her during a performance at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas.

Video footage of the event quickly went viral as the singer appears visibly stunned when the drink is thrown during a performance of ‘Bodak Yellow’.

Cardi B then threw her microphone to the concert-goer as security made quick work of escorting them away.

Cardi B becomes one of the latest musicians to be targeted with items or strange fan behaviour on stage during performances. Harry Styles, Bebe Rexha, Ava Max, Drake, and Pink are among the many artists who have experienced mid-performance disruptions.

Rexha was struck in the face by a phone while performing in New York City in June, an assault which required her to get stitches.

According to the police, the person who threw the phone was “trying to see if I could hit her with the phone at the end of the show because it would be funny”.

Max was hit in the face by a fan during a performance in Los Angeles after the man forced his way on stage. She wrote on Twitter: “He slapped me so hard that he scratched the inside of my eye. He’s never coming to a show again”.

In the aftermath of the incident during Cardi B’s show, the singer took to Twitter to share a retweet of a video capturing the moment. The footage offered a crystal-clear perspective of the drink being hurled in her direction while she was on stage.
