Rolling Loud Miami unveil huge line up of hip-hop stars
As the hottest day in the hip-hop calendar approaches, Rolling Loud Festival have unveiled the utterly stacked line-up for this year’s event in Miami. The definitive hip-hop festival will be celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, attracting countless iconic rap artists to perform at the event, and there will probably be some surprises along the way too.
The festival will take place at the Hard Rock Stadium in the heart of Miami Gardens, Florida, starting on December 13th and running until December 15th. Hundreds of names will take to the stage over the three-day event, with Rolling Loud regular Future headlining the Friday night after his previous performance at the Californian iteration of the event.
Elsewhere, Travis Scott is set to headline the Saturday of the festival, while Playboi Carti closes out the stacked festival on Sunday. While the headliners offer an impressive glimpse into the scale of this hip-hop celebration, there is a plethora of incredible artists hiding further down the line-up too. For instance, figures like Metro Boomin, Bryson Tiller, Denzel Curry, Lil Yachty, Rick Ross, and Young Nudy, among many others, are due to appear at the event.
Rolling Loud has always tried to foster rising talent within the American hip-hop scene, so it makes sense that the line-up would feature a variety of up-and-coming artists in the field. Particularly notable is the inclusion of rising stars Babytron, Bossman Dlow, Karrahbooo, Lay Bankz, Rob49, and Veeze.
This year’s event will even give some representation to country music as country rapper Shaboozey makes his Rolling Loud debut. The artist’s inclusion on the line-up is indicative of the current popularity of country music, particularly within the world of hip-hop and R&B. Musicians like Lil Nas X and, more recently, Beyoncé, have shown the diverse power of country music, and it seems as though Rolling Loud have taken notice.
Tickets for the three-day festival are set to go on general sale this Friday at 12:00 Eastern Time, or 17:00 if you are in the UK and planning on making the hip-hop pilgrimage over to Miami. There are four different tiers of tickets, ranging from general admission to ‘VIP Munchies’.
While prices for the event have not yet been released, a previous Rolling Loud event in Vienna earlier this year sold GA tickets for €259, with the highest tier going for €659. With the Miami festival being the tenth anniversary of Rolling Loud, it seems unlikely that tickets will last very long.
