Two men arrested in connection with Young Dolph’s murder

Two suspected gunmen have been arrested in connection with Young Dolph’s murder.

The news was first reported by TMZ, who claimed Justin Johnson and Cornelius Smith have been detained in police custody concerning the incident. Allegedly, the duo face charges of first-degree murder and theft of property between $10,000 and $60,000.

Furthermore, Smith also has an account of attempted first-degree murder attached to his name after he reportedly tried to shoot Dolph’s brother during the same attack. He’s also charged with carrying or possessing a weapon and employment of a firearm with intent to commit a felony.

Meanwhile, Johnson was arrested by US Marshals after they posted a warrant last week. The Memphis Police Department co-signed the document, and members of the general public were offered a staggering $15,000 reward for any information which would lead to his arrest. It has since emerged that Johnson escaped 500 miles to Indiana following the incident.

Astonishingly, Johnson responded to his arrest warrant on his Instagram Story. He pled his innocence to his followers and revealed his plans to turn himself in to clear his name.

Following the rapper’s death, his family said, “Losing Adolph, Dolph, Man-Man, changes our lives forever. And while we will take each day as it comes, we are comforted in knowing that he leaves a legacy that reflects his heart. A heart that was for his family. A heart that was for the people.

“We are grateful for the outpouring of love. We are grateful that his godly obligation to show kindness to the world is being acknowledged. As a family, we were blessed to call him our son, our nephew, our brother, our cousin, our partner and our Father. And now, we have the honour of calling him our angel. A role he has always played.”
