Tupac Shakur murder suspect alleges Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs “offered millions” for rapper’s murder

The man accused of killing Tupac Shakur has claimed that Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs “offered millions” to have the ‘California Love’ rapper killed. The statement was made by Duane ‘Keefe D’ Davis in an unearthed police interview tape that took place in 2009, where he brought up Combs’ name 47 times.

During the interview, Detective Long of the Las Vegas Metro Police Department asked Keefe, “Does he play a role in this thing?” referring to Combs, to which he replied, “Yeah.” Keefe allegedly quoted Combs as saying, “Ah, shit, I’ll give anything for that dude head,” due to his hatred of Tupac.

Speaking to 45 people in the room, Keefe claimed that Combs said the price on his head was “motherfucking millions.” According to The Sun, he said of Death Row co-founder Suge Knight, “He didn’t say no specific dollar amount, but he, he wanted the man’s head though.” He added, “He was real scared of that guy.”

Keefe was then asked, “What about, did Puff have any problems, Puffy have any problems with Tupac?” to which he responded, “About that, ah, yeah, that record came out, told him he’s a fucker and all that shit.”

Combs’ view on Tupac was allegedly, “Fuck that dude,” according to Keefe. After seeing his nephew Orlando Anderson take shots at Tupac and Suge off the Las Vegas Strip on September 13, 1996, Keefe said, “We was like, ‘Damn, we can get paid now.’”

“When you said paid, paid by Puffy, right?” Long asked, to which Keefe said, “Yeah.” Keefe then alleged that Combs’ didn’t pay him directly. Instead, the person who made the payment was allegedly Eric ‘Zip’ Martin, who had supplied Keefe’s crew with the murder weapon.

Keefe claimed “the word on the streets” was that Zip kept the alleged million-dollar bounty for himself instead of handing it over. He added, “Zip got paid by Puff at some point.”

Former Bad Bad Records rapper Young City of Da Band recently claimed that Combs “hated” Tupac. “Diddy hated everything about Tupac, no matter how that sound,” he said. “Diddy hated ‘Pac, facts. Hated his guts. Hated him. It was that serious.”
