Travis Scott recreates The Beatles' 'Abbey Road' cover in London

Earlier this year, Houston rapper Travis Scott made a comeback following his two-year hiatus and ensured his loyal followers that the long-awaited follow-up to Astroworld is complete. However, as fans continue to wait for this new project, it seems that Travis is travelling as he has recently been showing his appreciation for The Beatles in London by recreating their famous Abbey Road artwork.

In a video posted to TikTok, Scott was spotted outside Abbey Road Studios, where the rapper is reportedly wrapping up his Utopia album, and being photographed on the iconic zebra crossing outside the recording facility.

As Scott crossed the street, he was accompanied by security. However, one of his guards was carrying the Utopia briefcase, which many believe contains the music everybody is desperate to hear. He and his protection purposefully walked in a single-file fashion to recreate the 1969 artwork depicting John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison walking across the road.

The order that he and his team walked in placed him in the same position as McCartney. Anticipation is high as earlier this week, Scott teased fans when he appeared in a new Nike ad with tennis legend John McEnroe where the briefcase with the master recording was visible.

It has been five years since Scott released his Astroworld album, and following the Astroworld crowd crush tragedy, the musician has been slowly but surely phasing himself back into music-making. The lyricist has been detailing his upcoming collaborators, such as Pharrell. However, at present, it is still unknown when we will hear the project.

Earlier this year, featured on Chase B’s single ‘Ring Ring’ alongside Quavo, Don Toliver and Ty Dolla $ign, and even performed at the Rolling Loud festival. However, there’s still no official release date for Utopia. The only individuals who have heard snippets are the Houston Astros baseball team, to whom he played it.
