Travis Scott performs first UK show since Astroworld tragedy

Travis Scott has just completed two sold-out UK shows, which were his first on these shores since the rapper was caught up in a whirlwind of controversy when ten of his fans died during the now infamous Astroworld Festival crowd crush tragedy. The incident led to Scott being hit with multiple lawsuits, and he quickly retired from playing live performances as a result of the event.

Despite the rapper coming out as a surprise guest at Rolling Loud Festival in Miami last month and performing briefly at the Billboard Music Awards in May, Scott still seemed unwilling to perform any solo shows.

However, the rapper is back and recently hit London’s O2 arena giving fans an electric performance on not one but two occasions selling out two shows at total capacity. Scott kicked off the proceedings with a performance of ‘Hold That Heat’ as he entered the stage on a podium surrounded by pyrotechnics. His set was extensive and included multiple fan favourites, with Scott performing, ‘Butterfly Effect’, ‘Way Back’, ‘MAFIA’ and ‘Sicko Mode’. The setlist totalled 23 tracks, with fans utterly enthralled by the rapper’s aura.

Scott, as well as performing his more well-known tracks, also surprised fans as he performed ‘God’s Country’, a track featuring Kanye West from his upcoming fourth studio album, ‘Utopia’. He also performed an unreleased track entitled ‘Lost Forever’.

Fans even spotted the rapper’s girlfriend, mega-star influencer Kylie Jenner in the stands with their daughter Stormi. Overall, the show was a hit, with fans glad that the rapper is finally back and performing again. You can read the full setlist below and watch a clip of the performance.
