Tay-K releases new music amid 80-year murder sentence in Texas

Tay-K has returned with new music while serving 80 years in prison.

The rapper, best known for his hit single ‘The Race’, is currently behind bars at the John B Connally Unit in Karnes County, Texas, after being found guilty of murder on two occasions.

On June 11th, Tay-K released two new singles, ‘Erupt’, produced by Warpstr, and ‘Everywhere I Go’, produced by Warpstr and John Ross.

On ‘Erupt’, he raps, “In the jail I’m spazzin’/ Beat a n*gga ass ’til the police rush like, ‘Boy, it’s enough, why didn’t you avoid this for us?/ I got that in me to not give a fuck/ I got that in me to rule the world/ The Earth, the core, the mantle, the crust, what?/ He mad and he way too corrupt/ This what makes lil’ Tay-K erupt.”

Tay-K keeps the same energy on ‘Everywhere I Go’, with lyrics about guns, beef, and breaking the law.

He spits, “Ran up on lil’ Tay-K, bitch, I had to let it blow/ 3.5 Cookies, bitch, I had to let it smoke/ N*gga don’t want beef, think he need some lettuce, folk/ N*gga’s shook, he can’t talk, help him with his lettuce, bro/ This could get critical, this could get medical/ This could get physical, this could get federal.”

The 25-year-old was convicted of killing Ethan Walker in 2016 and Mark Saldivar in 2017.

Tay-K’s new music arrives just days after he claimed he will be released from prison. In May, his sister posted a video of her having a conversation with “Taymor’s attorney.” After the call ended, she turned to someone and said, “Your son coming home!”

Earlier this week, he wrote on X, “It’s true.”
