Stockton rapper pleads guilty to gun and drug charges in Arkansas

California rapper EBK Jaaybo has pleaded guilty to gun and drug charges.

The 22-year-old rapper from Stockton is facing years in prison following a traffic stop in Arkansas in 2025.

According to The Mercury News, Jaaybo and fellow rapper, 19-year-old Baby Maxx (real name Xavier Jones), pleaded guilty to possession of a machine gun and a controlled substance with intent to distribute it.

The pair entered their guilty pleas on June 4th, with the gun charge carrying a sentence of up to 10 years behind bars.

Both Jaaybo and Maxx were scheduled to go on trial before reaching an agreement. As part of their pleas, several charges were dismissed.

The pair were found with a Glock pistol illegally modified to shoot fully automatic, around five ounces of weed, and $8,534 in cash. The firearm was linked to a February 2025 shooting where rival rapper Dreamllife Rizzy was shot and wounded.

Jaaybo released his latest album, Don’t Trust Me, in May 2025, while Baby Maxx released Fuck the Gity in October 2025.

The former has over 1.5 million monthly Spotify listeners, with his biggest song, ‘Boogieman’, boasting 154 million streams. Maxx has 45,000 monthly listeners, and his biggest song is ‘Temporary Love 2’, which has 1.2 million streams.

During an interview with Rolling Stone last year, Jaaybo spoke about attempting to stay out of jail.

“I done did a lot of jail time, so it’s like, over the years I learned how to enjoy the little shit, and learned that money don’t mean anything,” he said. “I enjoy the little shit in life. Because once that shit get revoked from you, you ain’t going to care about the money, you going to be caring about the little shit like just seeing the trees and. In jail, you can’t do shit like that. Sometimes you don’t see the stars.”
