Snoop Dogg to star in Eli Roth’s new horror film ‘Don’t Go in That House, Bitch!’
Snoop Dogg is set to star in Eli Roth’s upcoming horror film titled Don’t Go in That House, Bitch!.
The rapper was previously attached to the movie as a producer in September, but it’s now been announced that he’s one of the cast members.
According to Variety, the script was finished over Christmas and is scheduled to start filming in June.
“He’s been wanting to do Death Row Films for a long time,” Roth explained. “I said we need to make the ultimate haunted house movie, like the craziest one, something that mixes House, House by the Cemetery, Hausu, and Friday, the 13th.”
He continued, “Like, something so insane people can’t believe it exists. And we have to call it, Don’t Go in That House, Bitch! And he’s going to star in it.”
Roth’s most recent film, Borderlands, was released in 2024, starring Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and many others.
Speaking on the title of his Snoop collaboration, Roth said, “People keep going in the house. People don’t listen. What are you doing, bitch? Don’t go in that house. People just keep going in. Like, what are you doing? You’re not going to come out of there. Don’t do it. Turn around. Leave!”
He added, “It’s basically everything that we yell at the screen during horror movies. You put those as characters in the movie like a Greek chorus.”
Roth revealed that they’re budgeting now and applying for the California tax credit. If successful, he plans to shoot the film in Los Angeles.
Snoop is also set to contribute to Roth’s next film, Ice Cream Man. He made a song for the end credits and recorded some score that isn’t hip-hop.
