Kevin Hart mocks Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs at BET Awards
Kevin Hart hosted the 2025 BET Awards at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on June 9th. During his opening monologue, he decided to take shots at Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs, who is currently on trial for sex trafficking and racketeering.
In his speech, the actor/comedian joked that nobody in attendance was allowed to attend afterparties that night. He claimed that things can get “slippery” at the events, referencing Combs’ use of baby oil at his alleged sex parties.
“I’ma do my part, I’m shutting down the idea of afterparties,” Hart said. “No afterparties tonight, OK, none. Take your asses him after this. That’s why I did it on a Monday. I did it on a Monday, people gotta go to work tomorrow.”
The comic continued: “No afterparties. That’s where shit get slippery, at them goddamn afterparties, OK. We learning a lot about people, ain’t we? We learning a lot. Take your asses home. I had BET get those Waymo cars, those cars without the drivers, to take y’all home. Can’t bribe them, nobody in the car.”
He added, “Take your asses home. No yachts, no boats. Cardi B – no pink stuff. What the fuck? None of that stuff.”
The Cardi comment refers to her boyfriend, NFL star Stefon Diggs, recently handling what appeared to be pink cocaine at a yacht party.
Hart also made a joke at the expense of Kanye West, referencing the Michael B Jordan film Sinners and Ye’s beef with Playboi Carti.
“Oh shit, it’s Kanye,” he said, pretending to receive a text message from him. “Yep, he says he’s out front, he’s waiting for somebody to invite him in. We all saw Sinners. Don’t let his ass in here, so he could fight somebody, so he can fight Playboi Carti again, OK? Nobody let Kanye in, no! Not tonight!”
