Snoop Dogg is mourning the loss of his 10-month-old grandchild.
His daughter, Cori, took to social media on January 31st to announce the passing of her infant daughter, Codi.
“Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Codi,” she wrote. The father, Wayne Deuce, also said, “I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you. Long Live Codi Dreaux.”
Snoop offered his support on Instagram, sharing a photo of himself alongside his 26-year-old daughter and sons Corde and Cordell. In the caption, he included heart and prayer emojis.
Cori revealed she was expecting her first child with her fiancé in December 2024. She announced that Codi had been born prematurely in February 2025.
“The princess arrived at 6 months,” she wrote. “I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself because I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed. But no matter what God always shows me that He got me! Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s the best!! Thank You God for getting me this.”
In September 2025, Cori shared that her daughter had been in the NICU for six months. “Becoming a NICU mom was not part of the plan, but it became part of my story,” she said. “September is NICU Awareness Month, and I carry my little warrior’s strength with me every day.”
Last month, Cori revealed that she had taken her daughter home. “She’s home,” Cori wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all.”
Cori is the youngest of Snoop’s three children with Shante Broadus. He also has a son named Julian with his ex-partner, Laurie Helmond.
