Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ prison release date pushed back after violations

Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs is set to spend even longer behind bars after his prison release date was pushed back this week.

In October, it was reported that Combs was scheduled to be released on May 8th, 2028, following the end of his 50-month sentence on prostitution charges.

However, according to prison records obtained by Page Six, the Bad Boy rapper will now be released on June 4th, 2028.

Although the Bureau of Federal Prisons have yet to provide a reason for the delay, the news comes off the back of Combs allegedly violating prison rules.

Combs transferred from Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center to FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey earlier this month. Shortly after, the rapper was reportedly caught with homemade alcohol, consisting of Fanta, sugar and apples, which inmates leave for two weeks to ferment into an alcoholic substance.

His spokesperson denied the story, saying, “There have been several false and reckless reports circulating about Mr Combs. He has not violated any prison rules. His sobriety and self-discipline are priorities, and he is taking them seriously.”

The statement added, “This is only his first week at FCI Fort Dix, and unfortunately, rumours will surface throughout his time there. We ask the public and the press to give him the benefit of the doubt, the privacy to focus on his personal growth, and the grace to move forward in peace.”

Combs has also been accused of making a three-person call, which is forbidden. The call was allegedly between the rapper and two family members.

His representative defended Combs, saying, “The phone call he was on was initiated by an attorney and it was attorney client privilege and appropriate.”
