Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ legal team “deeply concerned” about 50 Cent documentary

A spokesperson for Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs has revealed concern over 50 Cent’s upcoming docuseries about the Bad Boy rapper.

Sean Combs: The Reckoning will arrive on Netflix on December 2nd, which will “unpack the shocking allegations behind Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and his Bad Boy empire, spanning decades of his life and career.”

The documentary includes unseen footage of Combs days before his arrest, filmed with his knowledge. However, his team claims it was never provided by them.

According to The New York Times, Combs’ spokesman, Juda Engelmayer, said his legal team were “deeply concerned” about the series using alleged unauthorised footage.

He said it included “private moments, pre-indictment material from an unfinished project, and conversations involving legal strategy.”

Revealing his team had contacted Netflix, Engelmayer added, “None of this was obtained from Sean Combs or his team, and its inclusion raises very serious questions about how this material was accessed and why Netflix chose to use it.”

In one clip from the series, Combs says, “We need to find someone who will work with us who has worked in the dirtiest of dirty businesses. We are losing.”

During an interview with Good Morning America, 50 revealed his shock about Combs recording the footage prior to his arrest.

“It was surprising that he actually filmed it,” he said. “It was very interesting to watch a man who’s known for his brand. He has a really amazing knack for marketing and all of that, and how he was sort of taking that into account in how he was coming off to the public.”
