Footage surfaces of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs days before arrest
Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs is the subject of an upcoming documentary produced by 50 Cent. Ahead of its release, a new trailer shows unreleased footage of the rapper six days before his arrest.
Combs was arrested in September 2024 and found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, while being acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking.
Before Sean Combs: The Reckoning arrives on December 2nd, a new clip shows video and audio of Combs panicking less than a week before his arrest.
“We need to find someone who will work with us who has worked in the dirtiest of dirty businesses,” he says while speaking to someone over the phone. “We are losing.”
In another clip that appears to be a younger Combs, he says, “Everything in life, you are going to have people that are bad and people that are good. You have to choose your side.”
According to Netflix, “The documentary series features intimate footage, shot with Combs’ knowledge, in the six days leading up to his arrest and indictment. At the time, Combs was under federal investigation.”
The four-part docuseries is said to “unpack the shocking allegations behind Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and his Bad Boy empire, spanning decades of his life and career.”
It’s described as a “a staggering examination of the media mogul, music legend, and convicted offender.”
Combs is currently serving four years and two months behind bars at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. He’s set to be released in 2028.
