Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is readying a long line of escorts to testify for him during trial: “Only the beginning”

Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs will be facing trial in May of next year, and it will be a federal trial that could the Bad Boy mogul imprisoned for life. This week, the Press Play creator has filed a motion for bail three times, and his third request will granted or denied this week.

Combs remains in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Centre and, in the eyes of the prosecution, is a threat to society, which should stay in the holding facility. However, while he resides in the detention centre, his legal team have been preparing a defence for his federal sex trafficking case in May.

On Sunday, November 24th, it was revealed that Combs will have numerous escorts who attended his “freak offs” testify on his behalf and contest the allegations that are being made against him concerning trafficking for prostitution.

Currently it is understood only six escorts are willing to testify for Combs. However, in a statement, the prosecution unveiled that they believe there are many more, unveiling, “Six escorts are only the beginning.”

Although the alleged escorts may be able to provide a partial defence for Combs in his case of sex trafficking, the musician also faces allegations of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion. If convicted, he faces a maximum life sentence.

Trafficking by force could result in a minimum of 15 years, and if related to prostitution, sex trafficking could see the judge add an extra decade to the musician’s sentence. However, a life sentence is still a possibility.

Furthermore, it is alleged that the Harlem native used his multiple businesses to obstruct justice. Other allegations made against Combs include kidnapping, arson, bribery, and drug offences.

As Combs’ bail request unfolds, all eyes are on him. Many believe he does not deserve to be freed and insist it is unnecessary. Still, the claims that he violated jail protocols by attempting to contact witnesses could hinder the process.

The motion being considered currently was described Combs’ legal team as “far more robust” than the last three and, according to the Associated Press, conditions would see the enforcement of nonstop security monitoring a complete restriction on Combs’ ability to communicate with anyone but his lawyers. However, the bail request is still set at $50million.

Still, he is presently struggling in the Metropolitan Detention Centre and the federal jail, which is currently part of an “interagency sweep.”
