Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs alleged sexual assault victim still suffers “night terrors”
On October 28th, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was hit with a lawsuit alleging that he sexually assaulted a 10-year-old in a New York hotel. The plaintiff, who remains anonymous under the pseudonym of John Doe, claimed that Combs took advantage of him after an audition in 2005.
According to the lawsuit filed by Tony Buzbee, John Doe was an aspiring rapper who was invited to a significant meeting with Combs due to his talent. However, it is alleged that the plaintiff was given a spiked soda, which had some adverse effects.
As per court documents, obtained by People magazine, after being escorted to a hotel room by a consultant hired by his parents, the minor was allegedly welcomed by Combs with open arms.
The October case read, “After the plaintiff consumed his soda and began feeling its effects, Combs told the plaintiff to move closer to him, which the plaintiff did. Combs then abruptly pushed the plaintiff down and said words to the effect of, ‘You have to do some stuff you don’t want to do sometimes.'”
The filing alleges that the 10-year-old may have been given some GHB, which made him feel “a little funny.” However, the victim then blacked out and was completely unconscious.
That said, new alleged details have emerged, claiming that to this day, the plaintiff “continues to suffer from severe depression and anxiety, which leaves him hopeless and fatigued when in situations that remind him of the incident, he feels a strong sense of panic.”
The details of the case were graphic, and while recalling the alleged assault, Doe claimed that after he fell unconscious, he woke up and his “anus and buttocks hurt badly.” Furthermore, the anonymous plaintiff’s “pants were undone.”
The alleged incident shaped his whole life, and supposedly, the plaintiff had to be homeschooled following the alleged incident because many of his relationships were affected by the behavioural issues caused by the assault. As well as depression, the lawsuit claims the plaintiff also “battles fears and night terrors regularly.”
This is one of many civil lawsuits filed by Tony Buzbee in New York County Court. The music mogul was arrested on September 16th and currently faces charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. He is set to face trial in federal court in May 2025.
Until then, Combs remains in the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, which is currently facing an “interagency operation”.
