Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs accused of dangling someone over hotel balcony in indictment
Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs was previously accused of dangling people over balconies in lawsuits from separate women. Now, in his federal indictment, the ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ artist allegedly held someone off a hotel balcony.
Combs is currently jailed at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking by force and transportation for purposes of prostitution. His trial begins on May 5th after being arrested in September.
The indictment has been amended three times with new charges and allegations. Last week, it was updated to include an additional charge each of sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.
According to NBC News, the first amended indictment claimed Combs coerced two additional women into sex acts and of having “dangled a victim over an apartment balcony.”
Combs was accused of sexual battery by a woman who claimed he dangled her from a 17-story balcony while Cassie was present. At the time of the alleged incident, Bryana ‘Bana’ Bongolan, an aspiring fashion designer, accused Combs of “outrageous and abhorrent conduct” that violated her “fundamental dignity, bodily autonomy and sense of safety.”
On another occasion, Combs allegedly “used force, threats of force, and coercion to cause victims, including but not limited to three female victims,” to engage in commercial sex acts. When employees, witnesses or others threatened Combs’ authority, he was said to react violently at times with “multiple” acts of kidnapping. It was also alleged that Combs “dangled a victim over an apartment balcony.”
In response to the most recent indictment, Combs’ lawyers said, “These are not new allegations or new accusers. These are the same individuals, former long-term girlfriends, who were involved in consensual relationships. This was their private sex life, defined by consent, not coercion.”
