POORSTACY’s girlfriend arrested following rapper’s death
Rapper POORSTACY died on November 29th after suffering a gunshot wound in a Florida hotel. Following his death, his girlfriend was arrested.
Police have claimed that the woman, Nicole Grikstas, used drugs in the presence of their child in the days leading up to her partner losing his life. She was charged with child neglect without causing great bodily harm.
According to TMZ, Grikstas and the child were in the room when POORSTACY committed suicide. She broke down her version of events during an interview with Boca Raton Police, which allegedly involved a handgun.
Grikstas claimed that she and her partner checked into the hotel with the child a week before the incident. She admitted to consuming multiple drugs in front of their child, including cocaine, MDMA, and Xanax.
She went on to claim that on November 28th, at around 11pm, they came back to the hotel room and took cocaine. Then, at roughly 3am, she allegedly took MDMA while arguing with the rapper over infidelity.
Grikstas claimed that POORSTACY accused her of hiding his drugs, which she denied. As a result, she alleged that he took off her clothes and checked her vaginal and anal areas before assaulting her several times.
For around an hour, she claimed the rapper was holding a gun and threatened to shoot her over the missing drugs, while also pointing the gun at himself. He then allegedly put the gun to his head and pulled the trigger.
In the aftermath, police found a loaded Taurus handgun, drugs, paraphernalia, children’s toys, and food scattered across the room.
Officers have accused Grikstas of not trying to remove their child from the environment. The child is currently safe with her family.
