Mid-show, after having performed some of their most well-known songs such as ‘Roger That’ and ‘No Frauds’, headliner Drake gave an emotional tribute to his fellow crew members, declaring, “I’m standing onstage with the greatest rapper of all time,” in reference to Lil Wayne. The Toronto rapper continued, “and I’m standing onstage with the other greatest rapper of all time. She’s over there with the pink hair. By the way, like, are these b*tches serious? Like, nobody can f*ck with Nicki… [She’s] like the originator. It starts here, ends here, all that sh*t.”

Young Money Cash Money Records, the record label and crew formed by Lil Wayne in the mid-2000s, has birthed the careers of many formidable rap artists over the years, including Tyga, Nicki Minaj, Drake and Mack Maine, to name a few. In spite of the fact not all the former crew members were on stage for the reunion, it was a show to remember, and fans received many surprises throughout the show.
