Man arrested for trying to start a fire at Chris Brown’s house
A man was arrested this week for allegedly trying to start a fire at the home of Chris Brown.
On May 13th, police responded to reports of an incident at around 7pm at the singer’s Tarzana home in the San Fernando Valley.
According to TMZ, the man was spotted attempting to enter the property at the gate and jumped over a fence. From there, he allegedly tried to start a fire.
A security guard stopped the man and kept him there until police arrived at the scene, leading to his arrest.
Brown’s home is no stranger to incidents. Earlier this month, his security guard was arrested outside his home following a confrontation with a woman that involved a shooting.
The man was taken into custody after firing a CO2-style gun when a woman showed up at the property and was asked to leave. After refusing, there was allegedly a heated argument that saw the woman return to her car and drive over his foot.
Taking to his Instagram Stories after news of the incident surfaced, Brown wrote, “AT THIS POINT THIS PATTERN IS OLD. I’m looking at the news like the rest of y’all wondering when and where the hell this happened.”
He continued, “I’ve been in my crib this whole time. Ain’t heard a gunshot, police, car or anything. DON’T ATTACH MY NAME TO NONE OF THIS BULLSHIT. I got shit to do!”
The singer just released his new album, Brown, on May 8th. The project features NBA YoungBoy, GloRilla, Vybz Kartel, Sexyy Red, Bryson Tiller, and others.
Following its release, the album has been slammed by critics, with one review describing it as “a real piece of shit.”
