Future and Metro Boomin swiftly step in as headliners for Rolling Loud California 2024, taking over from Lil Uzi Vert.
This change comes in response to the Philadelphia rapper’s assertion that he never confirmed his appearance, prompting the festival to update its lineup just a day after the initial announcement.
In a strange turn of events, despite Uzi’s disavowal, his name had been listed alongside Post Malone and Nicki Minaj.
“I never said I was doing rolling loud,” Uzi wrote after the lineup was initially revealed. “Don’t understand why my name is on here @rollingloud,” said the rapper.
In light of this, Future and Metro Boomin will now command the headline slot on the festival’s third night in March. “NEW ALBUM FUTURE x METRO BOOMIN BEFORE ROLLING LOUD,” they wrote in the comments of the announcement.
