Lil Wayne is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

On July 23rd, it was announced that Weezy would be part of the 2027 class that will be honoured on Hollywood Boulevard.

Wayne celebrated the news on social media, revealing that longtime collaborator Fabian Marasciullo had informed him.

“Ok so my brother is Fabian right, and he play too fkn much like brothers do,” he wrote on X. “This man just told me that it’s been confirmed that im getting my own star on the Hollywood walk of fame!!!! Wtf boy!! This man play too much bruh! U serious boy??!?!?!!?”

The likes of Charlamagne Tha God, Idris Elba, Delroy Lindo, Ted Sarandos, Pedro Pascal, Keke Palmer, Elle Fanning, and Dakota Fanning will also receive a star.

Speaking at a press conference, president and CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, Ron Frierson, said, “This class continues the proud legacy of the Walk of Fame. Performers whose voices moved us, storytellers who expanded our view of the world, visionaries who brought unforgettable characters to life and trailblazers whose influence will be felt for generations to come.”

Walk of Fame Selection Chairman, Peter Roth, added, “The Walk of Fame Selection Committee is proud to welcome the Class of 2027 to one of the most enduring symbols of achievement in entertainment. These 32 extraordinary individuals have each made a lasting impact on audiences around the world through their talent, creativity, and dedication to their craft.”

Wayne’s inclusion comes shortly after Cleveland hip-hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony received their star at a ceremony earlier this month.

The event included special guests Fat Joe, Ice-T, and radio host Big Boy, Katt Williams, Ray J, Lil Eazy-E, and Ras Kass.
