Lawyer claims Keefe D lied about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs offering him $1m to kill Tupac

Last year, in an interview with the Las Vegas Police Department (LAPD), Tupac Shakur murder suspect Keefe D alleged that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs gave him $1 million to kill the West Coast icon. However, he recently retracted that statement and has insisted that he lied.

This confession comes after Keefe D was asked by New York Southern District investigators to speak with them and potentially provide evidence against Combs. However, the self-proclaimed ‘Godfather of Compton’ has told friends and family that he will not be working with the New York court that is currently conducting a nationwide investigation into the Bad Boy founder.

Investigators from the New York Southern District have been working with the Clark County District Attorney’s office in Nevada to see whether or not there is any credible evidence that could put Combs as a potential suspect in Tupac’s murder. Still, without help from Keefe D, their chances are slim.

Through his attorney, Carl Arnold, Keefe D has expressed that he will under no circumstances work with the people trying to prosecute Combs. In an interview with The US Sun, when asked how much he was speaking to the investigators, he replied, “Not at all.”

During his interview, Arnold insisted that nobody has ever been able to link Combs to the death of Tupac and that it is pointless for the authorities to try and rehash this theory, telling the publication, “No one has ever been able to prove that he wanted Tupac killed and was willing to pay for it.

The initial $1 million claim that Keefe made was during a 2008 police interview, and when The US Sun asked about this, his lawyer swiftly hit back, “Keefe lied.” Since his arrest in September, Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

On behalf of Keefe D, Arnold asserted that if his client had credible information, he would have given it to them ages ago, stating, “[He] is going to prison for life. If he has that information I am sure he would’ve given it up now to save his skin.”

A family friend of Keefe also told The US Sun, “Keefe ain’t saying s*** to any of the agents about Diddy. “They have nothing to offer him, and he still maintains he ain’t no snitch.” Arnold, on the other hand, is sure that his client will walk free in March 2025 as the prosecution allegedly “have no proof.”
