2Pac murder suspect Duane 'Keefe D' Davis pleads not guilty

Only two months ago, Duane ‘Keffe D’ Davis was indicted and then arrested on charges of murdering the late rapper 2Pac. However, Davis has decided to plead not guilty of the crime.

The suspect was arrested following the reopening of the 1996 murder case earlier this year when new evidence emerged. Many are aware that 2Pac was murdered in Las Vegas and that he was there to walk Mike Tyson to the ring of a fight against Bruce Seldon.

However, for years, many have suspected that a man by the name of Orlando Anderson was responsible for the crime. Although the police believe this is wrong, the public has not been too far off.

Keefe D is the uncle of Orlando Anderson, who has been the suspected killer for many years. Anderson had an altercation with the All Eyez On Me rapper and his crew inside the MGM Grand in Las Vegas hours before the emcee was murdered.

Police allege that Davis killed 2Pac as an act of retribution on behalf of his nephew. Many have questioned who committed the crime. However, the only person who truly knows is Suge Knight, who, as a loyal gangster, has never revealed who it was.

Further evidence that Keefe D may be the killer is that he is a well-known member of the gang Compton Crips, whereas 2Pac was an affiliate of the MOB Pirus, a rival blood gang set.

In July, Las Vegas police raided the home of Davis’ wife, where they found a Vibe magazine that featured Shakur, several .40-caliber bullets, two “tubs containing photographs”, and a copy of Compton Street Legend. No official verdict has been reached.
