Kodak Black pays rent for 200 residents of Golden Acres projects

Florida emcee Kodak Black has helped over 200 residents of the Golden Acres housing projects in Pompano Beach. The area has been dealing with many problems, including gun violence and substance abuse. Therefore, the ‘ZEZE’ rapper has decided to step in with financial aid.

Kodak Black has been in the news a lot recently for all the wrong reasons, and earlier this year, a video of him sitting in the street high on drugs went viral on social media. However, he seems to have overcome that.

In a social media post made by a Golden Acres resident, Vince Thompson, it was revealed that Kodak paid rent for him along with another 200 residents of the projects. Still, according to Thompson, Kodak didn’t want this good deed to be a spectacle.

Taking to X, Thompson wrote, “Sure, he may not care about proving the randoms wrong. But again, folks deserve to know this! He may not want the limelight, but for the 2nd month straight @KodakBlack has paid the rent for over 200 residents in Golden Acres, the entire projects!”

He continued, “A lot of people shine a light on the negativity. I’m a see how many people share the positive things you do fam. You’re a blessing to a lot of people. Thank you!!” This isn’t the first time that the ‘No Flockin’ artist has helped out the less well-off people of Pompano Beach.

In 2022, the lyricist helped 28 families who were facing eviction and wrote on social media,  “28 families Was Bout To Get Evicted For Being Behind On Their Rent A Few Months. I Paid What They Owed And Also Paid Their Rents For The Next Few Months So They Good For The Remaining Of The Year.”

In other Kodak news, he has released a couple of tracks this year. He first released the Valentine’s Day-themed songs ‘Cluck’ and ‘Single Again’. He then released a few stray singles on YouTube, such as ‘All Of Us,’ ‘Inside I Suffer,’ and ‘Maybach Van.’
