The latter stages of 2022 saw Kanye West have a public breakdown in front of the world. Featuring on several right-wing television platforms and podcasts, the Chicago producer, designer and entrepreneur castigated many well-known individuals, including Pete Davidson, Benjamin Netanyahu and even his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. This manic episode which also played out on social media, saw the cultural icon removed from Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
During this period, the beatmaker fraternised with political extremists and endorsed Adolf Hitler. However, Kardashian chose not to speak out and address her former husband’s behavioural and mental health issues. But, the reality TV star and model has now revealed her thoughts on West’s antics and has unveiled that she took issue with West claiming she had had an affair during their marriage. In a conversation with her mother about West’s behaviour, Kardashian asserted, “All of his shenanigans — I don’t even know what the fuck to call them — will be far more damaging to the kids one day than my tape will ever be.”
Kardashian revealed she is sick and tired of West still bringing up her 2007 sex tape with Ray J. Addressing how West is still punishing her for the tape, the TV star stated: “he looks so down on me for my tape and brings it up all over town, all over the media — thanks for reminding people once again!” Kardashian filed for divorce in January 2021 and claims that ever since, her ex has been tormenting her. In another segment of the Hulu show, Kim accused Kanye of starting the false rumour that she had an affair with Drake while they were married. She admitted that it was pure betrayal, angrily disclosing: “He was the one that started a rumour that said I was hooking up with Drake! Having an affair, the whole marriage, he accused me of that publicly!”
Following their official divorce in 2022, West began attacking both Kim and her then-boyfriend Pete Davidson. However, he also began accusing Kardashian of holding their kids hostage and not allowing him to see them or be involved in their upbringing. Bringing up the model’s sex tape and Playboy cover, West accused Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner, of encouraging his daughters, Chicago and North, to appear in “Playboy and sex tapes.” This is the first time that Kardashian has spoken about West since his 2022 meltdown, during which he appeared on the infamous show ‘Infowars’ hosted by conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.
