Since Kim Kardashian and Kanye West divorced in February of 2021, the reality tv star and her now ex-partner Pete Davidson were both on the receiving end of Kanye West’s public taunting, threats and harassment.
As a result, sources close to Davidson have revealed that he is seeking the help of a trauma therapist to deal with what was, in some instances, quite extreme taunting and bullying from the rapper.
Pete Davidson began dating Kim Kardashian a mere nine months after she filed for divorce from West but became a target for the rapper. In January, the rapper dissed Pete on The Game track ‘Eazy’ rhyming, “God saved me from that crash just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass”, threatening violence against the actor. The music video would then show Kanye kidnapping and burying Davidson. West would continue to do such things.
The most recent instance of Kanye’s abuse of Davidson is when West, in a since-deleted Instagram post, shared a faux New York Times headline that read “Skete Davidson Dead at Age 28.”
West, who has admitted to living with bi-polar, was gunning for Davidson the entire time he was with Kardashian and even when the actor attempted to extend an olive branch by a text that read: “I’d never get in the way of your children. It’s a promise. How you guys go about raising your children is your business, not mine. I do hope one I day I can meet them, and we can all be friends”, the rapper attacked him telling him “No, you will never meet my children.”
The very public feud between the two obviously took a toll on the actor as he is now experiencing PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder) and seeking therapy. The anonymous source close to Davidson, in a candid interview with People magazine, told the interviewer, “The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics [was] a trigger for Pete, and he’s had to seek out help.”
