Kanye West is recreating childhood home for 'Donda' listening party in Chicago

Kanye West has decided to recreate his childhood home in Chicago ahead of the listening party for Donda later this week. The performance is set to be another spectacular event.

Donda is now scheduled to be released this Friday, but Ye fans have got used to feeling disappointed when release day rolls around, ready for the inevitable moment the project doesn’t appear on streaming services. Although Apple Music will be elated with the news of no album, as it means there is another live stream on the horizon. West’s most recent listening event became the most-watched on the platform ever.

The upcoming party will be the third such event, following two listening parties at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta over the past month. It was a venue where the rapper was reportedly living when he put the finishing touches on the record.

The event will be streaming on Apple Music, and West’s manager has now claimed that the album will be released after the night in Chicago. However, the same was said by Ye’s team for the last two Donda listening parties, which makes it difficult to get too excited over the release of West’s tenth album.

TMZ have now obtained images of Soldier Field stadium in Chicago preparing for Yeezy’s arrival. It looks set to be a homecoming in the most literal sense as he recreates his childhood home for the performance.
