Kanye West announces listening party for 'Donda' in Chicago

After the last two events at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Kanye West has unveiled plans to bring Donda home to Chicago.

Another month draws to a close, and Donda has still not been released. However, Apple Music will be elated with the news there is another live stream on the horizon after West’s most recent listening event of the album became the most-watched on the platform ever. The longer this facade rumbles on, the better for them.

The latest event broke the record that West set with the first live stream of Donda last month. The latter saw 3.3 million people tune in to watch Kanye premiere his new album at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Meanwhile, a whopping 5.4 million fans viewed Yeezy’s second premiere last week at the same stadium.

Now Ye has announced that he is taking Donda to his hometown of Chicago, at Soldier Field, on August 26th, with tickets on sale on August 20th.

The date of the stream leads to an August 27th release date, but this isn’t our first rodeo, and honestly, the new album from West will only arrive when the rapper himself decides that it is ready to be unleashed.

Fingers crossed that the album finally arrives this time, but with Yeezy, anything is possible, and nothing is out of the equation.
