Kanye West and Bianca Censori to divorce
Kanye West and Bianca Censori are reportedly getting divorced after less than three years of marriage. The news comes 11 days after the couple caused a stir at the Grammy Awards with Censori’s nude outfit on the red carpet.
As of February 13th, a source close to the rapper confirmed that they’ve broken up and are expected to proceed with legal procedures over the next few days. Censori is currently living at their house in Beverly Park North, Los Angeles, which is worth $35 million, while Kanye’s whereabouts are unknown.
According to the Daily Mail, the pair have verbally agreed that she will receive a $5 million payment following the dissolution of their marriage, which started in December 2022. Earlier this month, Censori wore a revealing outfit at the Grammys, which the New York Post claimed she was “really nervous” about wearing and “wanted to back out several times.”
The incident saw the couple standing on the red carpet as Censori dropped her coat on the floor and posed for the paparazzi. Following the stunt, Kanye took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to claim he didn’t force her to do anything but that she wouldn’t have done it without his approval.
“People say the red carpet look was her decision,” he said. “Yes I don’t make her do nothing she doesn’t want to but she definitely wouldn’t have been able to do it without my approval you stupid ass woke pawns. I have no respect or empathy for any one living ’cause no one living can fuck with me but I do love some people and I give them favor.”
He continued, “Anyone who called my wife’s Grammy look a stunt is dumb and laaaame yes youuuu. She been dressing naked for 2 years now all of a sudden it’s a stunt. Every single bitch on the planet wish they had her bravery body platform and access to money and a husband that supported they personal expression. There are a lot of things that had to converge for this moment to happen.”
Kanye previously married Kim Kardashian in 2014, before filing for divorce in 2021 and finalising legal papers in 2022.
