Kanye West’s wife Bianca Censori won’t face charges for naked Grammys stunt
Kanye West‘s wife, Bianca Censori, caused a stir at the Grammy Awards over the weekend after she put her private body parts on display on the red carpet. However, the Yeezy architect reportedly won’t be charged for being naked in public.
Censori shocked the paparazzi on February 2nd as she stood beside Ye and dropped her coat to unveil a transparent dress that showed her breasts and vaginal area. Sources connected to the event organisers claim that AEG officials and the Recording Academy had security around but received no formal complaints about her look.
According to TMZ, the Los Angeles Police Department says the Grammys was a private event, and no one had contacted the police with any complaints. Kanye was on the guest list and expected to walk the red carpet, but the see-through dress caught everyone off guard.
Ye addressed a rumour that he and Censori were kicked out of the Grammys due to her X-rated outfit. Targeting broadcaster Don Lemon, he wrote on Instagram, “This the goofball that started the rumour that me and my wife got kicked out the Grammies 3 decades of innovating music and they always K*ONS like this.”
Despite Censori going nude, Kanye kept things clean by wearing an all-black outfit and a diamond chain, complete with sunglasses. Ye looked straight ahead before whispering something to his wife and leaving her to solo photos.
Page Six reports that the pair, who married in a private ceremony in December 2022, were trying to recreate the cover for Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign’s Vultures 1 album. The two artists released the project in February 2024, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 with 148,000 units in its first week.
This isn’t the first time the couple have made headlines for nudity in public. In 2023, viral photos and videos showed Ye’s bare buttocks on display through his black jacket and pants, which were pulled down below his waist. He was on a water taxi in Venice at the time and could be seen holding his wife’s head near his lap, suggesting she was performing oral sex on him.
