Kanye West addresses involvement in Bhad Bhabie and Alabama Barker’s beef
Kanye West has spoken out after finding himself caught up in Bhad Bhabie and Alabama Barker’s feud. Bhabie recently dropped a diss track called ‘Ms. Whitman’ against Barker, who is Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker’s daughter and Kourtney Kardashian’s stepdaughter. The latter is also Ye’s former sister-in-law.
‘Ms. Whitman’ samples Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign’s hit single ‘Carnival’, with Bhabie later teasing an unreleased verse from Ye. However, Kanye has responded to the song, suggesting it was AI-generated, wanting people to know he only approved the sample and nothing else.
“Yo, I’m not in the middle of none of this AI beef, people throwing my voice on things, the whole ‘Carnival’ sample,” he said on his Instagram Stories. “I just talked to Travis Barker; I would never be in the middle — I don’t even know what’s going on.
“I just got sent a song and asked if I could clear the sample. The only reason why I clear anything is ’cause so many people try to stop me, they stop clearances, everything. It’s been very difficult for me.”
He added, “So if someone asks me, I always clear it. But I’m not cool with being put in the middle of all this at all. So any verse that’s going viral using my voice, I didn’t do it.”
Bhabie’s representative said she was grateful for the sample clearance and “never intended on taking any advantage” of Kanye. The beef traces back a few months, with Bhabie accusing Barker of trying to steal her boyfriend, Le Vaughn. Barker denied the claims, stating Vaughn approached her instead. Bhabie then dropped ‘Over Cooked’, which got a Barker response in the form of ‘Cry Bhabie’.
Soulja Boy was dragged into the beef after Bhabie claimed Barker slept with him and Tyga. In response, Soulja said, “Bhad Bhabie, you crackhead bitch. Why the fuck you got my name in your mouth for?! Ain’t your baby daddy beating the fuck out you every day? Don’t you got black eyes every time you go Live?”
He continued, “Don’t you wanna be a fake black girl? Ain’t you been culture vulturin’ on our culture? Weren’t you at my house in Malibu tryna suck my dick and I said no? So you mean to tell me because I ain’t let you suck my dick, you mad? You get on this internet lying on my name?”
