Kanye West attacks Frank Ocean for trying to stop him supporting Donald Trump
Kanye West has recently been seen recording with producer Digital Nas online. During one of the beatmaker’s live streams, West can be heard attacking Frank Ocean for allegedly attempting to stop him from supporting Donald Trump when he was running for president in 2016.
West’s involvement in politics during Donald Trump’s first term saw him come out in support of the Republican party, which shocked many fans.
Before 2016, West had shown no interest in politics at all. However, by 2022, he was hanging out with Nick Fuentes, an alt-right figure and conservative commentator Candace Owens.
Since 2016, much has changed, and although West doesn’t talk about politics as much, he still has expressed antisemitism to the Jewish community in an abhorrent manner.
In the background of the latest live stream, while speaking to an unknown individual, fans can hear West saying, “Frank Ocean p*ssy ass come over my house talking about Trump all day and how I shouldn’t support Trump. N***a f*ck you know about politics and n***a I’m your motherf*cking senior, OG, y’all used to come on tour with me n***a!”
The Graduation creator continued to attack all of the MCs who, behind the scenes, attempted to dissuade him from supporting Donald Trump, adding, “None of you n***as can tell me about politics n***a. F*ck you think? You read a book, and now you can tell me some sh*t?”
He concluded, “None of these n***as as talented. I’m the greatest motherf*cking artist that ever existed. They can just be slightly better at one thing cause they only do that one thing.”
The stream has been controversial and received highly mixed reactions. Despite his musical dormancy, Frank Ocean is loved by many in hip-hop. One fan hit back at West, writing, “Crazy because there’s like 10-20 artists that do everything Kanye does but way better. Huge stretch calling himself the greatest artist that ever existed.” Another user lashed out at Digital Nas for even working with the Vultures creator, commenting, “Digital Nas is a yesman and just letting bro rant. Kanye forever cooked.”
In 2022, Kanye West and Nick Fuentes visited Mar-a-Lago for dinner. However, the reaction from the public and political establishment in general led to Donald Trump keeping them away and he has had nothing to do with the two since.
