Gucci Mane disses Pooh Shiesty over kidnapping in new song

Gucci Mane has taken shots at Pooh Shiesty after the Memphis rapper allegedly kidnapped him at gunpoint.

Shiesty was one of nine people accused of robbing the 1017 boss and forcing him to sign a contract to release him from his record deal in January.

On April 10th, Gucci released a new song called ‘Crash Dummy’, produced by Zaytoven, which addresses the alleged incident.

In the first verse’s first line, Gucci raps, “Tell the truth, you went out like a real crash dummy/ And after all that, boy, you still signed to me.”

Speaking on the incident itself, he says, “I thought it was a business meeting, but it was a set-up/ I walk in the room, you can feel the pressure building/ N*gga dapped me up, the whole time they plotting against me.”

Gucci went on to claim that Shiesty betrayed him after only ever being kind to him.

“Some people like to take a n*gga kindness for weakness/ I pulled up on business, but y’all was on some weak shit/ The artist and the CEO, I wear a lot of hats/ They smile in your face, then they stab you in your back,” he raps.

Later in the verse, he compares the incident to Death Row Records. “A n*gga set up the play, like Suge Knight did with Dre,” he spits. “But I ain’t Eazy-E, n*gga, and this ain’t back in the day/ This 1017 the label, I built this shit from the ground/ And I be damned if I let a n*gga take my shit down.”

The incident was allegedly an “armed takeover” that involved the door being barricaded. Shiesty was arrested last week and has since been denied bail.
