GloRilla calls out police for arresting her over weed possession

GloRilla was arrested in Georgia on July 22nd, turning herself into the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and being charged with possession of a scheduled controlled substance and possession of marijuana over one ounce. Now, she’s broken her silence on the incident.

Officers responded to a burglary report at her home on July 20th and discovered various substances inside her property.

On July 24th, the Memphis rapper called out the police force for taking legal action against her when the person who broke into her house got away scot-free.

“CRAZY!! My House got Home Invaded Saturday While I was in Indianapolis performing for the WNBA all star game & instead of Focusing on finding the Suspects , they focus on some cannabis,” she told her 2.7 million X followers.

“1. So no I wasn’t busted 2. My house got robbed 3. I wasn’t home. Long story short my house gets home invaded and Im the only one that gets arrested. So that’s tea.”

According to law enforcement, three people broke into GloRilla’s house and attempted to steal various items before someone fired shots at them.

“It was reported that three suspects had entered the home and were in the process of stealing items when an armed occupant fired at the intruders,” a rep said. “The suspects fled the scene, and it does not appear that any of them were struck.

“No injuries were reported among the home’s occupants. Despite an extensive search involving uniform patrol, K-9 teams, and the FCSO Drone Unit, the suspects were not located.”

GloRilla most recently collaborated with Travis Scott on ‘Shyne’ from the Jackboys 2 album, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart this week.
