FBI reveals photos of Offset shooting suspects
The FBI have shared photos of suspects allegedly involved in the shooting of Offset.
The Migos rapper was shot at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, on April 6th.
According to CBS News, the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Miami are now seeking information regarding the shooting.
In doing so, they’ve released photos showing the alleged people and vehicles involved in the incident.
The FBI claim that a group of people assaulted Offset before one of them pulled out a gun and fired a shot that struck the rapper.
They reportedly tried and failed to steal Offset’s watch after the shooting took place. Those involved allegedly fled the scene in two Chevrolet SUVs.
In a statement, Former Federal Bureau of Investigation Special Agent, Stuart Kaplan, said, “We want to see whether or not certain individuals start to utilise, for example, digital devices and texting or cellular phone calls.”
He continued, “There are often times people are detained or apprehended, let go, and then subsequently additional information is developed and that person, while released, could be rearrested … I think it’s more of trying to locate these individuals than an attempt at trying to identify these individuals.”
Offset was shot in the leg and was taken to the hospital, but was in stable condition. Just days later, he released a statement and performed at Coachella.
“Thank you to everyone who’s checked in on me and showed me love!” he wrote. “I’m good….but I’m planning to be better! I’m focused on my family, my recovery, and getting back to the music. Realising that life is made up of quiet wins and loud losses…. Life’s a gamble and I’m still playing to win. $ET.”
