Migos rapper Offset hospitalised after being shot in Florida

Offset has reportedly been hospitalised after a shooting in Florida.

The former Migos rapper was near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood on April 6th when he suffered gunshot wounds.

According to TMZ, the incident took place in the evening, with the 34-year-old “currently at the hospital receiving medical care.”

Despite the shooting, a spokesperson stated that Offset is fine. “He is stable and being closely monitored,” the person said.

A source also told People, “Right now it looks like he’s going to be OK. He’s at Memorial Regional Hospital and is not in the ICU.”

A representative for the Seminole Police also released a statement about the incident, which resulted in two arrests.

“We are aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7pm Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood,” the statement read.

It continued, “Seminole Police were on site immediately, and the situation was contained quickly. Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal.”

Fellow Migos member Takeoff was shot and killed at a casino in 2022. The 28-year-old died in a shooting that took place at a private party in Houston, hosted by J Prince Jr, the son of J Prince, in the 1200 block of San Jacinto.

Police officers believe an argument occurred during or after a game of dice, which Quavo was involved in. Quavo allegedly walked away moments before shots were fired, and Takeoff was murdered.
