Fans concerned about Kodak Black after appearance on Kai Cenat stream

Kodak Black has previously suffered from addiction, and he Miami native has had more than a few brushes with the law since becoming famous. Notably, early last year, the rapper violated his probation after testing positive for fentanyl and oxycodone. After this, his lawyers asked if the lyricist could be put into rehab.

In a positive turn, the emcee spoke to fans about how happy he was that he got sober and during an Instagram Live, he declared, “I remember a point in my life when I was chewing a lot of Percs. I was taking, bro, at least 100 Percs. Bro, my average was 40 Percocets. I’m telling y’all this man! I’m proud of myself. I’ve never been this happy in my life, bro. I don’t know where this came from. What the fuck going on.”

However, fans have recently expressed severe concern for the rapper on social media after he appeared on a stream with the renowned Twitch celebrity Kai Cenat. Many artists have used the streamer’s platform to help build their brand. Still, Kodak’s appearance was nothing short of a nightmare for viewers and listeners.

Many fans have insisted that it was wrong for the emcee’s team to allow him to make public appearances, and following the stream, vast numbers of people are certain that the ‘No FLockin’ rhymer has relapsed and descended back into a pattern of drug abuse.

Kodak’s behaviour was erratic, strange and childlike, and for the majority of the stream, Cenat looked extremely uncomfortable and seemed to know that he wasn’t talking to a sober, right-minded individual. The coherent conversations were few, and during the Twitch session Cenat even recognised that the rapper was taking Percocet pills behind him.

When Cenat attempted to lift the mood and play a beat for the ‘ZEZE’ lyricist to freestyle to, fans quickly knew that something was wrong as Kodak began slurring nonsensical rhymes, rapping, “She said she wants to suck for me I said ‘No no I don’t want it’ / No I don’t want no sex / She said she want to suck for me I said ‘No no I don’t want it, I’m waiting for the bus’ / She punched me, she punched me.”

This didn’t only make the host uncomfortable and rightly scared, but it has made hip-hop concerned about Kodak Black’s mental being, as in recent years, hip-hop has lost many of its stars to drugs.

When footage of the stream emerged online, fans had a lot to say, with one user writing, “Yak needs help man, this sad go see. He worse than Uzi, who supposably be off whippets,” while another commented, “Kai Cenat is so professional the way he is handling Kodak Black rn…Drugs are terrible kids!”

Kodak Black is yet to respond to comments relating to the stream.
