Drake tells Ebro to “die slower” in leaked DMs
Ebro has revealed that Drake threatened him in response to Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning show being cancelled.
Ebro in the Morning, starring Ebro Darden, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez, began in 2012, with its last show airing on December 12th.
During an episode of their new show, The Ebro Laura Rosenberg Show, Ebro shared leaked Instagram DMs from Drake.
In one message, Drizzy writes, “Die slower pussy.” In another one, he says, “We got some shit for u.” Responding to the rapper, Ebro said, “Relax. You’re salty about losing to Kendrick. You’re not mad at me… Love bro.”
The Toronto Instagram page, Keep6ixSolid, previously posted a video of Ebro explaining why Ebro in the Morning had been cancelled. Drake took to the comments to share an axe emoji.
On X (formerly Twitter), Rosenberg replied, “It’s behaviour like this that has made it impossible for people to defend the wack sh*t that he does.”
Ebro and Drake have clashed many times in the past. In February, Ebro described Drake as a “sickness” in hip-hop.
“Drake is not that important,” he said. “The reason Drake’s in this is because he is a sickness in the game. It could have been any artist, but it’s what Drake represents. People love Drake – they love his music, we love his music. He’s beloved.”
He continued, “He’s not willing to go rip his soul from the bottom and do ayahuasca and look himself in the mirror as Kendrick had prescribed to him. It’s about what the game does to artists who try to dominate it.”
Responding to Ebro on his Instagram burner account, @plottttwistttttt, Drake shared a Photoshopped image of Ebro over a bowl of ayahuasca.
