Drake teases his new single with Bad Bunny

Canadian rapper and singer Drake has revealed to fans that he has a collaborative single with the Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny on the way. The pair haven’t collaborated since 2018 when they released ‘Mia,’ a Diamond-certified song.

The ‘God’s Plan’ artist (real name Aubrey Graham ) told fans during a Los Angeles it-stop on his ‘It’s All A Blur’ tour alongside 21 Savage after he saw Bad Bunny (real name Benito Ocasio) in the audience.

The Toronto rapper did not allude to a song but confirmed his upcoming album For All The Dogs will feature a Drake-Bad Bunny collaboration. Explaining to the audience that they had decided to join forces again, the musician proclaimed, “I want to tell y’all something ’cause y’all are L.A., and we love you. It’s been like six years since me, and Benito did a song. So, we got a song coming for y’all on my album!”

‘Mia’ appeared on Bad Bunny’s debut album, X 100pre, and took the Latin music market by storm, reaching number one in every Spanish-speaking nation in South and Central America. Following Drake’s announcement, fans took to Twitter to express their excitement at the prospect of another Diamond track.

One user wrote, “The club is not ready for this”, while another user posted, “Bad Bunny n Drake on another song together is gonna heal me.” Drake’s album For All The Dogs has had a lengthy, well-planned rollout that has included a virtual tour of Drake’s mansion and more.

Graham also wrote a book to accompany this new album. Earlier this year, the emcee took to Instagram to write, “I made an album to go with the book. They say they miss the old Drake girl. Don’t tempt me. FOR ALL THE DOGS.” Insinuating that he wrote the book first.

Aside from the tracks that have been released, not much about the project has been revealed to the public besides its name, potential guest appearances and the accompanying poetry book.
