Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR reveal tracklist for ‘Some Sexy Songs 4 U’ album
Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR have revealed the tracklist for their collaborative album, Some Sexy Songs 4 U. The project will be released through OVO Sound/Republic Records on February 14th, which coincides with Valentine’s Day.
The Toronto duo took to Instagram on February 13th to share more details about the album, giving a preview of the 21-track project. Some Sexy Songs 4 U is set to have a 74-minute runtime and include songs titled ‘CN Tower’, ‘Crying in Chanel’, ‘Spider-Man Superman’, ‘Gimme a Hug’, ‘Meet Your Padre’ and ‘Celibacy’.
There’s also a track called ‘Brian Steele’, named after the lawyer who represented Young Thug in his YSL RICO case. However, the tracklist is void of names, making it unclear whether Thug or anyone else will appear on the project.
Earlier this week, Drizzy teased the album on stage during his Australian tour dates. While fans might go into it expecting a specific type of sound, he assured the audience that there are turn-up songs on the album as well.
“I got an album coming out on February 14th with my brother PARTYNEXTDOOR,” he told his fans. “It’s called Some Sexy Songs 4 U, but it’s some turned up songs for you on there, too. And there’s some personal feelings on there for you. So hopefully, whoever you’re with on Valentine’s Day, hopefully y’all can share that experience together.”
Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR have teamed up many times throughout their careers on songs like ‘Loyal’, ‘Come and See Me’, ‘Recognize’, ‘With You’, ‘Members Only’, ‘Preach’, ‘Over Here’, ‘Since Way Back’ and ‘Wednesday Night Interlude’. Party went as far as calling their upcoming joint album a “classic” last year.
