Diddy calls his upcoming single the "song of the summer"

Diddy has been teasing fans by previewing some of his upcoming singles, one of which is ‘Act Bad’ featuring the Miami female duo City Girls and Brooklyn’s Fabulous. The Bad Boy Entertainment mogul isn’t the only one who’s excited about the track as, earlier this year, the City Girls gave fans a sneak peek of the song.

On Thursday, May 25th, Diddy took to Instagram and made several posts concerning the upcoming single. One was a collage of the City Girls with Diddy and Fabulous. Another was a video in which the Bad Boy Founder explained the inspiration behind the track. During the video, the emcee declared, “We all teamed up together to drop the song of the summer! It’s gonna be an Act Bad summer.” Explaining the definition of ‘Act Bad’ to fans, the executive (real name Sean Combs) defined acting bad as embracing personal freedom, letting go, and “not giving a fuck.”

In his most recent post, Diddy shared the raunchy trailer for this forthcoming anthem and even gave fans snippets of what will be the track’s accompanying video. This single from Diddy will undoubtedly cause some unrest for fans of the City Girls, who have been begging the duo for music. Recently, Yung Miami explained to their fans that while they appreciate the anticipation, the pair will not be rushed into making low-quality music.

This collaboration between Diddy and the City Girls is highly intriguing as, not too long ago, rumours about Diddy and Yung Miami dating were surfacing on the internet. The Revolt TV owner was recently seen getting agitated as radio personality La La Anthony grilled him about his supposed relationship on the red carpet at the Met Gala. Questioning the emcee, she asked, “Do y’all officially go together real bad?”  At first, the star hesitated. However, coming back with a calculated response, he replied, “We definitely go together real bad. She’s my date for the night. She’s incredible,” he said. “We don’t put titles on it. Everybody wants us to put a title on it; we don’t put titles on it. You can see the trailer for ‘Act Bad’ in the video below.
