City Girls have enlisted Missy Elliott as the video for their new single, ‘Twerkulator’.
The hip-hop duo’s track arrived officially in May but leaked last year and became a viral smash on Tik Tok. The single has since landed at 51 on the Billboard Chart, and this salacious video is only going to help the track climb further.
The video begins with the narration: “This is an emergency. This is not a test. Everyone, please take shelter immediately! The Twerkulators have already invaded Twerk City, and you don’t have much time.
They’ve already landed, and they’re taking over. Run for cover, motherfuckers!”
The track features a sample of the 1982 effort ‘Planet Rock’ by Afrika Bambaataa & The Soulsonic Force, and the duo recently performed ‘Twerkulator’ at the 2021 Bet Awards.
