Judge bans DDG and Halle Bailey from posting about each other online

DDG and Halle Bailey have been involved in various legal issues in recent years. Now, a judge has banned them from posting online about each other.

Amid their custody dispute, Los Angeles Judge Angela Davis has ordered the former couple not to direct any posts towards each other on social media. They’re also not allowed to make comments about their child, Halo.

According to The Express Tribune, a tense courtroom session took place on August 20th, which involved DDG’s mother being asked to leave.

Prosecutors claimed DDG put their son in the spotlight by staging paparazzi photos. They also alleged he subjected Bailey to harassment with his massive online following, which includes 6.9 million Instagram followers and 1.9million Twitch followers.

They asked to ban mentions on social media and requested supervised visitation of their son due to “performance parenting.”

Davis ruled a social media gag order to both DDG and Bailey, while granting supervised visitation for DDG until an October 15th hearing.

DDG filed a temporary restraining order against Bailey in June. “In or about August 2023, during a particularly volatile argument, petitioner became enraged and threatened to end her life using my legally owned firearm,” he wrote in a declaration alongside his court filing. “Without my consent, she took the weapon and left the house.

“This incident was one of several in which petitioner’s actions posed a serious threat to her own safety and the safety of our son by creating an environment of emotional distress and danger within the home.”

He also claimed that Halle sent “a series of alarming text messages threatening to kill herself and suggesting that their infant son, Halo, might also be harmed.” His legal action came after Bailey was granted a restraining order against DDG in May.
