DDG denies ignoring Young Thug at Nipsey Hussle’s Marathon Burger
YouTuber and rapper DDG has come under a lot of fire about his recent visit to Nipsey Hussle’s Marathon Burger. The emcee and rapper recently volunteered to work at the Los Angeles restaurant opened by the late Nipsey Hussle’s brother, Blacc Sam. More specifically, DDG has come under fire for his interaction with Young Thug.
The content creator chose to livestream some of his day while at the establishment. When Atlanta legend Young Thug entered the restaurant, it was alleged by some viewers that DDG ignored the love Thugger was trying to give him. Therefore, many have accused him of acting disrespectfully.
DDG has come back firing at all the fans and publications, insisting that they are simply trying to create a problem out of nothing. The YouTuber’s response has been aggressive, and he has emphasised that this is merely an online conspiracy to frame him in a negative light.
DDG has clarified, for all those interested, that he did not ignore a dap from Young Thug at Marathon Burger despite what it may have looked like on the live stream. During a video, he expressed his outrage and then explained, in detail, the reality of what happened.
After his day volunteering, while reading the online response to his live stream, DDG despaired, “Man, they spinning this shit! ‘Young Thug tried to dap up DDG, but he ignored him.’ No, he wasn’t. I said what’s up to him when I first walked in, and [my cameraman] Johnny didn’t see it, so y’all didn’t see it. He was dapping up Nipsey brother.”
DDG also recently addressed the anger people showed him last year after he gifted his one-year-old son, Halo, a Ferrari. Many reacted negatively, as it seemed ridiculous and wasteful to buy a car for a baby who obviously can’t drive.
During a recent live stream with model India Love, DDG admitted it wasn’t an actual purchase but was a rental, unveiling, “Want me to be honest? I rented it. Okay? I said it. I think it was cool. It was a good moment. He gon’ be able to look at it when he get older.”
