Cassie’s makeup artist alleges Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs abuse: “We were scared of Puff”

Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs is the subject of a new docuseries, The Fall of Diddy, which premiered on January 27th on Investigation Discovery. One of those who spoke out about Combs is celebrity makeup artist Mylah Morales, who alleges she rescued Cassie following a violent argument.

Morales claims that the incident occurred at The Beverly Hills Hotel on the weekend of the Grammy Awards in 2010. While staying with Cassie, she claims that Combs burst into the room looking for the singer, with the pair then stepping away for an argument.

Following the alleged altercation, Morales says Cassie had “knots on her head, [a] bruised eye” and a “busted lip.” Morales claims she rang a doctor, a friend of hers, to treat Cassie’s injuries. They all decided not to report the incident or go to the hospital.

“We were scared of Puff. We were always scared of him,” she said. “If we called the police, what would happen? He’s a very powerful person in the business, and he can do things that will make you go away. And many people are afraid of him till this day.”

Cassie filed a lawsuit against Combs in November 2023 that was settled just one day later. However, it opened the door to many other accusations of sexual assault and physical violence, resulting in his arrest on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution in September 2024.

In a statement in May 2024, Cassie said, “Domestic violence is THE issue. It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, I am better today, but I will always be recovering from my past.”

The Fall of Diddy is a four-part series about the “harrowing allegations of violent behaviour and illegal activity” mounted against Combs, who is currently jailed at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn and waiting for his trial to begin on May 5th, 2025.
