Cardi B sparks Stefon Diggs breakup rumours after deleting photos
Cardi B went public last month with her new boyfriend, Stefon Diggs. However, rumours have circulated about their relationship ending after they deleted various photos together.
The Bronx rapper went Instagram official with the NFL player on June 1st, sharing a photo of them getting close and personal on a boat. She also shared a video of herself twerking as Diggs slapped her buttocks.
Over the weekend, Cardi deleted photos of herself alongside the New England Patriots wide receiver. Taking to her Instagram Stories, she also cryptically stated that she was “sooo tired.”
Her ex-partner, Offset, appeared to reference the rumoured split during an Instagram Live session. “You can’t get rid of me,” he said. “I’m like cancer. You can’t get rid of the cancer. I’m harder than all you pussies.”
Cardi filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024 after seven years. On X Spaces, she revealed their relationship deteriorated so much that she was worried she would end his life.
“I don’t think people understand how tired I was … I was mentally drained,” she said. “Couldn’t eat—I was getting frequent headaches. I was literally losing my mind. I gave [him] chances after chances. If I was still there, I was gonna end up going to jail. ‘Cause I was gonna end up killing him, seriously, with my own bare hands. It was just getting too much.”
She previously filed for divorce in 2020, stating, “I just got tired of fucking arguing. I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye. When you feel like it’s just not the same anymore, before you actually get cheated on, I’d rather just leave. Nothing crazy out of this world happened, sometimes people really do grow apart.”
