
Cardi B leads 2026 BET Awards nominations
The nominations for the 2026 BET Awards have been announced, with Cardi B leading the way.
The nominees were revealed on May 19th, with the Bronx rapper receiving a total of six nominations.
Kendrick Lamar and Mariah The Scientist are just behind Cardi with five nominations, while Clipse, Doechii, Doja Cat, Latto, Teyana Taylor, and Olivia Dean all have four nominations.
Elsewhere, A$AP Rocky, SZA, T.I., Bruno Mars, Bryson Tiller, Metro Boomin, Chris Brown, Jill Scott, Kehlani, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, and YK Niece each received three nominations.
Cardi is nominated for ‘Fashion Vanguard’, ‘Best Collaboration’ for her ‘Errtime’ remix with Jeezy and Latto, ‘Best Female Hip-Hop Artist’, ‘Video Director of the Year’ with Patientce Foster, ‘Album of the Year’ for Am I the Drama?, and ‘Viewers’ Choice’ for ‘Outside’.
Lamar is nominated for ‘Best Collaboration’ for ‘Chains and Whips’ with Clipse and ‘Good Flirts’ with his cousin, Baby Keem, ‘Best Male Hip-Hop Artist’, ‘Video of the Year’ for ‘Luther’ with SZA, and ‘Viewers’ Choice’ for ‘Chains and Whips’ with Clipse.
Then, Mariah is nominated for ‘Best Female R&B/Pop Artist’, ‘Best Collaboration’ for ‘Is It a Crime’ with Kali Uchis, ‘Video of the Year’ for ‘Burning Blue’, ‘Album of the Year’ for Hearts Sold Separately, and ‘Viewers’ Choice’ for ‘Burning Blue’.
The 26th BET Awards is set to take place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on June 28th, with Druski serving as the host.
